Kattuyanam Rice Idly

Karuppu Kavuni Aval– 1 cup

  1. Grind Aval coarsely
  2. Heat the Pan add little oil, mustard seeds, urid dal, chana dal, green chilis, curry leaves and coconut
  3. Fry for 2 mts.
  4. Add 1 ½ cup of water and salt to taste
  5. When the water starts boiling add grinded aval and cook it for 5 mts.
  6. Once the mix is ready, make Kuzhakkattai and keep it in Idly cooker and steam it for 15 mts.
  7. Serve with chutney
